The 3Com Router 3016 is designed to address the WAN and Internet Access requirements of a small enterprise. Its built-in 10/100 Ethernet port and Channelized T1/PRI port enables WAN or VPN encrypted Internet connections. The CT1/PRI interface can be used for dial-in service for remote or mobile users. The integrated Auxiliary port provides an Asynchronous connection for modem backup.
The 3016 supports IP/IPX routing, RIPv1/v2, OSPF, BGP-4, PPP, LAPB, DDN, Frame Relay, X.25, and SLIP; with support for QoS, DES/3DES encryption, NAT, firewall, packet filtering and SNMP. Its high performance full feature software runs on the (standard) 64MB of memory.

Buying Tips
