11/15/2009 3:29:54 PM I bought one of these cards online from a local computer retailer for my Intel Pentium 4 desktop running Vista Home Premium. Installation was simple, but afterwards the pointer began acting erratic, staying in place for a number of seconds after I moved the mouse. Keying in text caused the same reaction from the insertion point. At BFG's advice, I sent them info on the computer's power supply, adjusted every conceivable setting, and downloaded and ran various programs to analyze the computer's performance and adjust the drivers. Finally, they told me to ship it to them, following which they sent me a new card. But when I installed it, the same problems returned. I suggested that since my pc exceeds all the minimum requirements stated for the card, and the card is obviously not compatible with all the computers it claims to be compatible with, a refund is in order. BFG's attitude is that it's my computer (which operates without problems without the card) that is the issue. This is after I spent 2 months following their directions to run programs to analyze every speck of my pc and coming up with nothing wrong. They also said that they don't issue refunds, so I should talk to the retailer about a refund. Which is another story. |

Buying Tips
- Confirm all merchandise and price information with the vendor, including the model (whether it is a US or non-US model), the condition of the product (whether it is new, refurbished or remanufactured), what accessories are included and what the warranty covers.
