2/9/2008 8:46:15 PM The best digital camera I ever had. Professional people did a comparison between a Canon EOS and this one. Resolution about the same. Here expensive does not mean better. Why wait? |

7/13/2006 10:43:42 PM Incredible resolution. Easy to use. For an old-time film photog., this camera is amazing. The size is good although some persons told me it is bulky. Yet, I find the heft and hold easy to control. My other cameras are a Pellix, Minolta SRT, and a Hasselblad . . . that's bulky. |

6/4/2006 5:24:56 PM After 3 35mm cameras, this is my first digital camera. Simply amazing. Never had such a sharp image with such an easy to use camera at my finger tips (or in my shirt pocket). Wish this camera had been available for the past 20 years. Even my wife takes fantastic photographs. |

6/3/2006 9:20:00 AM My best compact camera by far (of 5). Great pictures w little noise. Fast startup, good balance, 4x optical zoom and relatively good continuous at about 2-2.5 fps. Flash recycles pretty quickly! 4 AA batteries give L O N G life w tons of pics even at full resolution. Lots of control options. Menus are good. Gunmetal gray is cool. Size is just a tad large for pocket use but considering the picture quality, it's a fair trade. A super-sticky grip can be added to the grip (Radio Shack has them) but probably ought to have been included w the camera - Improves handling a lot! Pics are just slightly inferior to those by SLR (Canon XT). 13 x 19 prints are spectacular! Am fascinated by the concept of the A700 (smaller) but haven't actually tried one yet. The A620 w 6x zoom and opt Img Stabilization would be fantastic. Previously an Oly man only, I've been converted! You can't go wrong w this model. |
