This sleek navigator and travel companion comes with preloaded maps for the lower 48 states, Hawaii and Puerto Rico or regional coverage in other areas. For more mapping options, check out the transatlantic nüvi 270 or nüvi 250. Like the rest of the nüvi 200-series, nüvi 200 is affordably priced and simple to use.Navigate With Ease
nüvi 200 comes preloaded with City Navigator® NT map data for the continental U.S., Hawaii and Puerto Rico (no Alaska or Canada detail) or one European region or country (click versions tab to view all). Simply touch the color sunlight-readable screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with 2-D or 3-D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, nüvi 200 accepts custom points of interest (POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.

8/30/2008 3:57:06 PM I purchased the Nuvi 200 when I traveled with my daughter to take her back to her college in Texas. I love it! It was wonderful and took a lot of the anxiety you can experience when you get lost and have to stop to ask for directions. We felt free to explore places we would not have gone to. |

8/3/2007 7:12:10 PM Received this as a gift 6 months ago. Love it. Love the fact that I can also let my kids use it when traveling. Can switch from car to car. Can use when walking in the city to get from one place to another. Lightweight enough to carry it in my purse. Love the directions. Very accurate. The only thing I would have liked is if it named the streets verbally. They show on the screen , but not part of the audio instructions. |

Buying Tips
