2/24/2007 4:34:17 PM Very nice and fast. The GPS in my Mercedes(DVD) was very slow. Type in dest. and it is there in a second or so. Very easy to use touch-screen! Database is unreal. This is the only way to go. Set-up took my wife about 45 seconds! We love it. It has way more features than built in Nav in cars. I like the trip odometer which shows speed etc and about a million other things. Very EASY and user friendly. |

2/25/2007 11:16:59 AM I just bought this unit on "spec". I wasn't sure what to expect out of its usefulness (I drive for a living). Well I've had this unit for six days and I can honestly that I am amazed. It provided more information and details than I could have ever hoped for. Its functionality is second to none, its easy to use and I didn't need to refer to the easy to understand pictoral quick reference guide to figure out the system. The only thing that took "some time" figuring out was that I had to flip the antenna up (located in the back of the unit) in order to aquire a satellite...daa. In my opinion, dollar for dollar this unit is the overall best compared to anything else that I've seen out there. Anybody who purchases this unit will not have buyers regret. To me its worth every penny and more.I won't leave home without it. Its my new companion. I actually prefer carrying this unit around more with me than my cell phone. My only complaint to Garmin would be that the unit should come with a belt case instead of the non-belt case...Thanks Garmin for putting this outstanding unit on the marketplace !!! |

Buying Tips
