Product Description
Producing color images at 1000 sqft/hour, the 4000ps uses its 256MB and 40GB hard disk space to its advantage when it comes to getting media out the door. This plotter can print on sizes ranging up to 42" wide on 300 foot long rolls. Its maximum color resolution prints at 2400 x 1200 dpi. Thus, you get rich, brilliant colors from print to print, regardless of ink levels or printhead usage. The PANTONE color matching technology allows you to print spot or process colors directly from your application. Combined with HP's color layering technology, you can create smooth color transitions and photo-quality results. Only the real thing would look better.The DesighJet 4000 comes with some exciting tools. Use the easy connectivity for multiplatform environments, and its webaccess uses any computer's Web browser for convenient, remote access to configurable printer alerts, job management, printer status, and ink and media usage.
The DesignJet is prepared to print right out of the box. Plus, HP's high-capacity No. 90 ink cartridges and long life printheads contain smart chips identifying low ink levels and worn printheads. In the end it means fewer changes in supplies, more unattended printing and a lower cost of ownership. Easily install the DesignJet's drivers and operate its control panel.

Buying Tips
- Confirm all merchandise and price information with the vendor, including the model (whether it is a US or non-US model), the condition of the product (whether it is new, refurbished or remanufactured), what accessories are included and what the warranty covers.
