The ThinkPad X4 Dock provides flexible expansion and cable management for users of ThinkPad X40 Series systems. Compatible with ThinkPad X40 Series ultraportable notebooks and the new ThinkPad X41 tablet, this dock boasts rich function and a compact design.The dock design accommodates the hinge on the ThinkPad X41 tablet system so you can alternate between portrait and landscape operating modes without repositioning the system on the dock. The ergonomic design provides a comfortable typing angle and the integrated key lock secures your ThinkPad X40 Series notebook or tablet in the dock, while an optional cable lock slot allows you to affix the dock to your workspace. The modular bay supports Ultrabay Slim options, including the DVD-ROM, CD-RW/DVD-ROM combination, and Multi-Burner Plus drives. It can also be used with the ThinkPad Second Hard Drive Adapter to house an additional HDD.
