9/11/2008 2:27:39 AM Has worked quite well for 2 years to get my signal from the main house out and up to a 2nd-floor office over a separate garage. Only issue is that when our DSL service goes down (happens around here in bad weather), the extended has to be rebooted (turned on and off) to connect once the DSL service is restored. To facilitate this, I have the extender unit mounted on a wall, plugged into a surge protector/power strip. Not really difficult, but necessary from time to time. One other thing: when I have needed tech support (for my other Linksys products), I have had excellent response and service from live people on the phone. Linksys is the ONLY company where I've had this kind of positive experience re: technology products I've purchased. |

1/7/2006 6:45:47 PM Works well to extend my wireless G network to the lower floor of my house but can be tricky to set up. A recent firmware upgrade caused me to lose connection between the WRE and wireless router. Took a couple of online chat sessions with the Linksys help desk to get it resolved, but now it's working great. Getting a full 54Mbps about 150 feet from the router and through a floor and several walls. Recommended (unless you're a technical klutz). |

Buying Tips

- If the merchandise is not shipped within 30 days, you generally have the right to a cancel your order and receive a complete refund.
