1/24/2002 12:03:20 PM I've been using windows since the early runtime versions came out around 1986 or so and this is the most stable windows yet. It seems you can always recover from a crash by merely opening task manager and closing the offending application. Gone are the days of having the PC frozen up so you have to reboot or power down. Also, the USB is flawless and fast. Plug and play correctly identified the hardware on my laptop (Compaq Presario 1710TW) including the IEEE1394 port. I loved windows 98se, but I think I like this even better. |

2/18/2000 1:42:23 PM Hardware support was meager. Although the motherboard and graphics card I used to test Windows 2000 were in Microsofts hardware compatiblity list, it would freeze in the middle of installing. I recomend staying with your current OS. |
