This is the worst camera I have ever seen. We do not even want it! Will probably return it. The quality of pics are horrible! Flat out awful. Would not recommend it to anyone. Also, you cannot see what you are taking, especially outside. I hate it

First of all, let me say that I have had 3 other digital cameras, all of which worked perfectly but had different benefits. After reading pre-release reviews of this camera, I was quite excited about purchasing it. The "small" size and 10x optical were the selling points for me. Now, however, I am not pleased with the camera for several reasons. (1) There is no viewfinder, therefore when it's bright outside you cannot see what you are taking a picture of. I called the company but was told to adjust the brightness on the LCD. Doesn't help. (2) The control buttons are very small (and I'm certainly not a "big" person) which makes it easy to hit the wrong button too often. (3) The "sports" feature does not take pictures quickly, although the specifications tell you it will. (4) The "indoor/party" makes every picture have a blue tint. (5) The LCD's picture is terrible, especially compared with a Canon.
Also, I emailed Nikon about 4 weeks ago, but as of yet, haven't heard from them.
It's an okay camera, especially if you only want to use it outdoors when the sun isn't very bright. Indoor pictures aren't good at all. The saving grace is the 10x zoom, but the problems with it are so distracting that I wish I had saved my money and purchased a camera that really was as good as the sales hype. I cannot recommend this camera in the least, unless purchasers are aware of the above listed problems. There are most likely more problems, but those are the ones that come to mind quickly. Oh well. Good luck if you get one.
