Great TV! Things don't get any better for a plasma in this price range. Choice was between Samsung 58 inch plasmas which are too heavy and said to have, at certain volumes, annoying "buzzing" sounds and the Panasonic 54 inch plasmas. I first looked at the Panasonic 54G10, and was immediately disappointed. On the television-broadcast end, the 54G10 looked somewhat jittery and transparent. I then looked at the TCP54S1, and was quite impressed. The picture was more stable, crisper and clearer than the more expensive 54G10. Blu-Ray on this plasma is nothing short of phenomenal, and for all those who can't stand black-bars while watching Blu-Ray material, this plasma has an excellent "zoom" function that works without degraded content.
All-in-all, I hope that this review helps you make your decision on a very well put together plasma.
