The Quantum DLT VS80 is a tape drive. It features a space saving half-high form factor, 40GB of native capacity (80GB compressed), transfer rate of 3 MB/sec native (6 MB/sec compressed), a recording format of 168 tracks as 84 logical track pairs and is available as an internally configured or self-standing enclosed unit. It uses DLTtape VS1 media to increase capacity capabilities, reliability and durability. Compatibility with almost any popular backup software package ensures an easy integration with new and existing networks and systems.
