5/23/2008 8:52:06 PM I was looking for a computer monitor/HDTV that could connect to my Sony EX1 HD camera via component inputs AND would also connect to my MBP via DVI/HDMI. The Samsung is an average computer monitor with DVI and an excellent monitor when viewing an HD Camera through Component RGB inputs. Color settings could not even get close to being correct when viewing input from computer through DVI, thus requiring major fiddling using the OSX color calibration. Not perfect, but workable. Best color from component inputs. Cable images of SD look okay, but not great. I don't have HDTV yet, so can't report on that. Best Buy sold this to me for $499, so I can't complain too much, but it is interesting how difficult it is to find both a good computer monitor and good tv in the same unit. By comparison, the Bravia 26 looked great via component, but lousy via HDMI |
