6/13/2005 12:29:01 PM This is a very low end digital camcorder with a few short commings that that make it non-user frendly. One, the USB streaming drops so many frames it is useless for capturing video. Two, the direct to DVD record feature only works with Sony VIAO computers. Three, the software is about two generations behind the times. No DVD recording, No DV capture fetures, Unable to record more than 10 min. of streaming video from USB. For a company that produces computers they have no idea how bad poor software can make a so so product a looser. My advice is to go a little more in price and take a look at the support software. |

5/17/2005 9:15:31 PM Only if it were FREE, would I have this camcorder. No, not even then. It was not designed by anyone who ever used one. Sony must laugh when thinking about the consumers having to remove the cam from the tripod to insert another tape. Only a moron would build a bottom loader. I have 4 Sony cams and they are my last. I returned this one. |
Buying Tips
- Confirm all merchandise and price information with the vendor, including the model (whether it is a US or non-US model), the condition of the product (whether it is new, refurbished or remanufactured), what accessories are included and what the warranty covers.
- Ask for a total of all charges including shipping, handling, insurance and taxes.

- If you have a problem with your order or with the merchandise, write a letter to the seller immediately giving all pertinent information. Make sure you keep a copy of this correspondence. Also notify your credit card company.
- If the merchandise is not shipped within 30 days, you generally have the right to a cancel your order and receive a complete refund.
- If you are unable to obtain satisfaction after notifying the seller of your problem, contact the consumer protection agency in the seller's state. And please let us know about it at PriceSCAN.com.
