Thanks to HDMI Active Intelligence, switching between components is a breeze, with full 1080p video and LPCM audio support through a single HDMI cable (sold separately). Featuring BRAVIA Theatre Sync, the HT-SS2000 also offers easy, one-touch operation of compatible Sony HDMI components so you no longer need to juggle multiple remote controls. For added convenience, you can expand your listening options by connecting a DIGITAL MEDIA PORT (DMP) accessory (sold separately) to listen to your iPod, Bluetooth-enabled device or even to stream music directly from your PC. All this and more is available in this sleek 5.1 channel system, specially designed to match Sony Blu-ray Disc components.

BRAVIA Theatre Sync
As a leader in products with HDMI connectivity, Sony has created BRAVIA Theatre Sync technology to go beyond simple audio and video transmission. When combined with a select number of BRAVIA LCD televisions and other Sony audio and video products, control functions will also be transmitted via the HDMI cable (sold separately)2. With “One Touch Play”, operations that took several steps have been reduced to one. Press the PLAY button on the remote, watch the audio and/or the video component(s) turn on, then the BRAVIA television will turn on and switch to the correct video input.2

DIGITAL MEDIA PORT3
Play and control your favorite stored music seamlessly from your home theater system. Connect DMP accessories to play back music from Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, networked computers or select iPod or Network Walkman digital music players (optional accessories sold separately). The DMP accessories include a PC Client Ready device (TDM-NC1), Bluetooth receiver (TDM-BT1) and Docking Stations compatible with select Network Walkman players (TDM-NW1) and iPod products (TDM-iP1).
