The REGZA XV648 Cinema Series introduces CrystalCoat for 30%+ more contrast in bright rooms, and Dolby Volume to maintain a consistent volume level when changing channels or between commercials. The result is improved picture and stabilized sound for an enhanced home theater experience.New CrystalCoat - You may watch TV at night in a dark room, but sometimes you may keep the lights on and have a bright room, or watch the game on Sunday afternoon with even brighter sunlight coming through the windows. Extra room light can lower the contrast on some TVs, but with CrystalCoat, you don’t have to worry. CrystalCoat stops ambient room light reflections from washing out the picture, creating 30%+ better contrast in bright rooms. Now you can enjoy the deep high contrast REGZA picture in all room light conditions.
New Dolby Volume - If you have ever been bothered by loud TV commercials or inconsistent volume when changing channels, Dolby Volume technology is the solution. Advanced algorithms monitor the audio during programs, when commercials start, and when changing channels. Louder programming is brought down, while lower programming is brought up. This ensures a consistent volume level with full dynamic range at all times.
ClearFrame 120Hz - Doubles the video frames from 60 per second to 120 per second to reduce any motion blur that could be caused by fast action video. By using advanced motion vector frame interpolation, it improves picture clarity without affecting picture brightness or adding flicker. For those that prefer a more fi lm-like picture, there is also a 5:5 Pull-Down option available.
Resolution+ - Some video content is in high definition (HD), but some is still in standard definition (SD). However, REGZA virtually levels the content playing field with Resolution+. Resolution+ is super resolution technology that upconverts and enhances 480i, 480p, and even 720p content to create a sharper, more detailed picture. With REGZA and Resolution+ all of your standard DVDs, SD TV channels, camcorder videos, and even SD video games will feel like HD.

Buying Tips
