Broan´s patented "double scissors" ram and motor deliver up to 5000 pounds of compaction force. The exclusive new screw guard prevents loose trash from interfering with operation. Designed with a swing away door so you can simply slide out the full trash bag and empty. The entire drawer removes for easy cleaning, and there is a convenient toe release to open the door. The interlocking door with auto reverse prevents operation when door is open; the ram automatically reverses if load is off center.
