The Power Prep Plus represents the first major redesign of the Cuisinart since its debut in 1973. It features a redesigned dough blade—actually, two sharp stainless steel blades—as well as a designated “dough” button and a redesigned feed tube with a simplified lid release. The smooth touch-pads wipe clean with a sponge. Unlike the plastic dough blade in previous models, these steel blades cut rather than drag through the dough, providing smoother kneading of larger quantities. The dough button reduces the RPMs during mixing, making dough less likely to overheat. This unit includes a cookbook and instructional videotapes. - Confirm all merchandise and price information with the vendor, including the model (whether it is a US or non-US model), the condition of the product (whether it is new, refurbished or remanufactured), what accessories are included and what the warranty covers.
